Humor. There’s lost of reasons why you settle for less than ideal solutions, so I try not to be critical of choices that I don’t know the backstory behind. But OMG.
Here’s a “Click to Refresh” button in the middle of a iphone app for United.

Humor. When every Web site requires a password, people resort to simple solutions for managing the many login details they need to track. These easy answers are hardly the secure, unique, and complex passwords security and IT teams hope for. As the top 3 passwords in recent account breaches illustrates:
The top 3 passwords from 32M leaked RockYou. com accounts were: 123456, 12345, and 123456789.

Humor. For all of our collective talk about Apple’s glory days and the beauty of the original Macintosh, none of us is trading in our Retina displays, solid metal cases, mobile designs and unlimited storage for an antique paperweight with a 9-inch, 512x342 pixel monochrome display and 128 kB of RAM.
That said…reskinning OSX the for a few days sounds like a pleasant way to burn a few office hours before the weekend.

Humor. I haven’t been this excited about a Kickstarter project in months. As we spend more and more time on touch interfaces, it’s refreshing to see something that turns just about any physical object into a button.
MaKey MaKey is an invention kit for the 21st century. Turn everyday objects into touchpads and combine them with the internet.

Humor. How important is the Internet to us, really? That’s what Boston Consulting Group asked in their recently released study (PDF), which weighed the Internet’s importance on everything from the global economy (which will account for 5. 2% of GDP for G20 countries by 2016) to individual lives (polls found that 21% of Americans would give up sex for Internet access, but only 10% would give up their cars).

E-commerce. I visit websites of real-life shops from time to time. They can be handy and they can be annoying. When I found this Oatmeal comic (that referred to this excellent xkcd diagram) I was reminded about an old sketch I had lying around.

Humor. LL Spool J’s (aka Jared Spool) new single, That’s What It’s About, is his first new release in over six years. “I’ve been keeping in touch with my fans and doing some gigs. While on the road this song came to me. I’m really amped about it.

Humor. If you like your project manager, this is a list of things not to do. But if they really deserve it, here are proven ways to drive them mad.
Never give specific odds or probabilities. Always make ambiguous commitments like “Probably”, “we may be able to do that” or “it’s possible”.

A fairly brilliant Dilbert cartoon about how some designers can prioritize aesthetics over functionality: "If I clutter the design with useful information it will look ugly and I won't be able to use it in my portfolio. " See how it ends here.

Humor. [note: when you see a painful restaurant website, can you please send them a link to this post or copy and email this to them? It is in all of our best interests that we get better restaurant sites. Thanks!]

We realize that as an entrepreneur you wear a lot of hats, but you probably aren't a web professional. So, we would like to humbly give you some advice to improve the web experience for your customers.
